Welcome to Cornerstone Christian School and the science program God has called us to share together. I trust we all had amazing summers (I really did and you can read about it in my previous post). I am really excited about this year and hope that you will join us at the open house this Friday evening. I have many wonderful things to share with you about opportunities for science in the comming year! Be looking for the flyers and make plans to be here, you won't want to miss it!!!
If you have found this web page, you either know about it or, better yet, looked into your student's Science Lab Notebook, discovered the website address, and here you are. For those of you checking this out after the Friday meeting, welcome as well. This is a way, I can communicate with you about some of the wonderful events of the week ahead and I usually update it late Sunday night (although I am hoping to get an earlier start on it this year). God has given me an amazing call to teach through inquiry this year and I am hoping that this will transform my classroom into a buzz of student talk, and student learning. I'm hoping that your student will come home asking questions around the dinner table and listening to what you have to share with them. I'm hoping that they will share with you an excitement about learning, life and most importantly display a growing understanding of their place in the kingdom of heaven.
Will you join me in prayer for the hearts, minds and souls of all the young people God has placed in my classrooms? Will you continually ask Him to guide my heart and words as I help nurture the spirit within them? Would you pray that they would respond favorably to my challenges of academic and spiritual excellence? God bless you and your family as we join together with Christ to make this an unforgetable year of growth and learning.
