The new year approaches and I am very excited to return. I hope you and your child(ren) have had a wonderful summer! My summer has been filled with excitement and new challenges and I have grown a great deal as a scientist. Working at JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) with Dr. Michael Klein the Deep Space Network Manager for radio astronomy has utilized every bit of my skills, scientific knowledge and writing abilities. It has been an interesting way to spend the summer, but it has been fun so far!

I am excited to hear about your summers and all the adventures your family has had. This year looks exciting with our seventh grade Catalina Island trip scheduled for February. Keep checking in for more updates as the year approaches. I will be adding information about science requirements and needs for the year. I continue to pray for each student over the summer and hope that God has blessed your family with many moments of relaxation and time together.
