This is it. The last week before the break. All Science Lab Notebooks are due this Friday. Neatness and completeness of all work is essential for a great grade. This week is spiritual emphasis week and there will be chapels every day. I hope that you have a wonderful Easter celebration at your church. After the break there will be just one week until SAT testing.

6th Grade
We will be finishing up the geologic history of the earth this week with a test on Friday. I am preparing notes and these should serve as a study guide. You may be interested in checking out some of the facts presented about how old the earth is and dating procedures. There is some interesting reasoning in this chapter. It is fun to examine science and beliefs.

7th Grade
More than 70% of all living mass of the world is in the form of insects (arthropods). They are the most diverse creatures in the world and all are uniquely designed, yet have the highest death rate of any other organism (good thing too or in just one month our planet would be overwhelmed in hundred feet depth of flies alone!). We will finish the week with echinoderms and then have a test on Friday.

8th Grade
The gravity of gravity is being examined thoroughly in Physical Science. Our reduced progress will allow students to build their simple 'machines' over the holiday break with their due date on Friday after the return from Easter break. There will be a test on Friday the 29th. The Magic Mountain Field trip is scheduled for May 24th. Tune in for information as the date approaches.
